MW Presents—Design
Content Brand: MW Presents is a sub-brand for different McCann Worldgroup content like webinars, podcasts, and quarterly magazines.
In the beginning…
MW Presents was started by the global comms team at the beginning of the pandemic. It was concepted as a bi-weekly live webinar to address feeling disconnected at a time of chaos and uncertainty, where McCann Worldgroup’s leaders and bright minds could dive into different topics of expertise. It was meant to be a short lived project, ending as soon as the pandemic ended…From there it blew up to one of McCann Worldgroup’s biggest communications projects and has now expanded into podcasts as well as webinars. The original design was meant to be a little cheeky—an exclamation point logo and TV static backgrounds—as we’re all gathering around our laptops to hear what our leaders have to say.
But Now…
Now, with a global rebrand underway, we pivoted into a more modern direction. Our new brand direction is inspired by museum design: sleek, streamlined and graphic. With our brand feeling simple in black and white, we wanted to bring color and texture into our comms platforms to convey more energy and dynamism, almost creating a sense of movement and vibration.
